My inspirations
I am always looking for new ways of working and discovering elements to nourish my creative process.
Art becomes my mode of expression.
Several elements contribute to my artistic awakening. The different museums and exhibitions that I was able to visit. My travels in Africa, Europe and the West Indies bring me new ideas.
I'm the spontaneous type and I let my thoughts guide me when I paint.
My paintings
The driving force behind my work is the brilliance of colors with an exotic touch that I draw from my Malagasy origins which allow me to appreciate the different cultures, flavors and taste for colors that I transpose into my works .
I got involved in painting on canvas. I use acrylic as a medium and I sometimes add a touch of originality to my works by integrating various elements: foliage, rope, etc.).
My aspiration is vast: decorative art, abstract art, landscapes, etc...
Each painting is hand painted and has a hanging system on the back. All paintings are signed and countersigned on the back.
Madagascar
It is a very beautiful and fragrant place. As soon as you land you immediately feel the balsamic smell of Lang ylang, coffee, cocoa and vanilla. After all, it is one of the most untouched regions, ideal for those who love nature in its original state. Fantastic islands, some uninhabited, with magnificent beaches of
Nosy Be, like the other islands, benefits from the warm waters of the Mozambique Channel and the shelter of the Tsaratanana massif. Add to that the tropical climate, with temperatures reaching 20-30 degrees all year round, and you have a fairytale scenario.
Between December and February, it is the “hurricane season”. The sun will be your faithful companion. From Nosy Be you can reach the northwest coast of Madagascar a few hours by ferry or half an hour by speed boat, and from there you can travel to visit the beautiful region of Diego Suarez and further north towards Sambava, Antalaha, Andapa, Amboangibe. My hometown is Marojala, completely in the bush. It is a village without drinking water or roads, just a dirt bike path.
It is in this diversity that I found my source of inspiration. We need colors to brighten up our lives and our interiors.
